It is  suggested a project for Chennai Port that would give a FaceLift and Protect Dusts flying from Port in to the city , that which help to overcome the Ban by Madras Highcourt to handle Dusty cargoes like Coal, inturn the ports Handling through put would increase multifold and as well the port's Revenue.

There is a periphery wall from Gate no.10 near war memorial extends via gate no.7 upto '0' Zero gate near Fisheries Harbour. 

This periphery wall is almost continuous except at few locations where there are Railway level crossings, Gate Entry/ Exit for employees etc ,

Along the periphery wall , with in port runs a Peripheral Road for lorries and Container trailer movements, cars and other vehicles of employees, officials and port users. This periphery road is a vital Road for cargo vehicles that are INCOMING/ OUTGOING from/ to Destinations through City Roads.

 About 10 to 20 meters of land along the periphery wall may be taken in port OR may be procured from TN  Government/ Pvt parties as the case may, based on detailed study of this project.

On this land a super structure design may be with 10 stories building ( hope this much height would be sufficient to prevent dust from flying out into city) be made out, giving provisions for Railway Entry / Exit ( protecting the present facilities) , Gate provisions for Employees/ Port users Entry/Exit, And the Port's Periphery Road aswell. 

Besides these, there would be plenty of Spaces where office complex for various departments, divisions and sections/ Areas can be developed in it. Still there could be huge spaces which could be rented out to various port users, viz., Steamer Agents, Stevedores, C& F agents. Presumably there would be huge demand from them. 

Architecture/ Engineering students be given this as a project work through Competition to make out a design, Outlook of Elevation.

Gate1 to 10 a continuous building structure of about 10 mtr heights, with modern outlook and designs, that would speak of Chennai Port in the minds of public .

மனைவி வருகிறாள்...!

 [ 5 1/2 மாதங்கள் சின்ன மகள், பேரனுடன் இருந்து விட்டு இன்று 16.9.24 நள்ளிரவில் சென்னை வரவிருக்கும் மனைவியை நினைத்துக் எழுதியது... :- ] மனைவி வருகிறாள்...  மனைவி வருகிறாள்... இன்று என் மனைவி வருகிறாள்  !  சில மாதங்களாக கண் மறைவில் இருந்த மனைவி வருகிறாள்...  சில வார்த்தைகள் பரிமாற்றம் தவிர ஏதும் இயலாதிருந்த மனைவி வருகிறாள்... என் மனைவி வருகிறாள்  !! மகளுடன் தூர தேசத்தில் இருந்த மனைவி வருகிறாள்  ! வந்து எதை தருவாளோ... என் மனதை வருடுவாளோ.. நானறியேன்... எதுவாயினும் அருகில் இருக்கிறாள் என்ற ஒன்றே போதும்... நடமாடும் போதும் கண் நடனமாடி காணும் பார்வை ஒன்றே போதும்... வருகிறாள்...  மனைவி வருகிறாள்  !  In Russian :- Моя жена идет...  Моя жена идет...
